Why Mondays Matter More Than You Think for High-Earning Women CEOs
Every Monday morning, two types of CEOs wake up.
One opens her laptop before her coffee brews, already scanning Slack for fires to put out. Her to-do list is half-written in her head. Her day feels full before it’s even begun.
The other CEO?
She’s not rushing. She’s setting the rhythm. Her week doesn’t start at her desk—it starts with her.
High-earning CEOs don’t just work differently—they begin differently.
While most entrepreneurs are trying to “catch up,” these women are syncing up with their vision, their energy, and their priorities.
Wealth doesn’t just come from what you do—it comes from how you enter the week that determines what gets done.
Signs Your Monday Routine Is Working Against You
If you’re ambitious, you may not even realize your Monday is the reason you feel behind.
Here are the subtle signs you’re starting the week in reaction instead of intention:
- You open your email before you open your planner.
- You dive into client work before reviewing your own goals.
- You tell yourself, “I’ll plan later,” but by Friday, you’re wondering where the week went.
- You feel busy but not fulfilled. Productive but not profitable.
You’re starting the week in everyone else’s energy instead of your own. That’s the fastest way to leak time, energy, and focus before Tuesday even arrives.
You Don’t Need More Hours—You Need a Monday Ritual That Regulates Your Energy
High-earning CEOs don’t magically have more discipline or motivation—they’ve built rituals that regulate their energy before they make decisions.
That’s what allows them to move from pressure to precision.
You don’t need another productivity hack. You need a Monday ritual that mirrors your future self’s frequency.
My favorite way to start my week is actually the night before. Looking ahead to my week, deciding what I want to achieve and how it will help me reach my goals faster, and then seeing how I can make my workweek more efficient.
The Monday Ritual That Sets Up Profitable, High-Momentum Weeks
This is the exact rhythm I teach inside The Profitable CEO Accelerator and the one I personally live by inside my Balanced Workweek™ framework.
It’s not about hustle or hyper-structure. It’s about harmony.
1. The CEO Check-In (Vision Before Tasks)
Ask yourself the one grounding question high-earning CEOs swear by:
“What is the ONE outcome that would make this week a success?”
Not five goals. Not fifteen tasks.
Just one outcome that drives the week.
High-earning CEOs build momentum by choosing focus over frenzy.
I open my notebook and review my quarterly objectives—the top three vision drivers I’m committed to. Then I ask how this week supports them.
This keeps me out of busywork and anchored in my long-term direction.
Because the truth is, distraction often looks like diligence in disguise.
2. The Energy Forecast (Embodiment Before Scheduling)
Next, I check in with my body before my calendar.
Every week brings a new energy—sometimes fiery, sometimes foggy, sometimes ready to conquer.
I journal for 10 minutes:
How does my energy feel right now?
What needs to shift for me to feel grounded and powerful?
Which commitments require my highest energy this week?
This is where intuition meets leadership.
When your energy is low, you build in recovery. When you’re lit up, you take bold aligned action.
High-earning CEOs don’t ignore energy; they optimize around it. It’s how they stay consistent without burning out.
3. The Money Map (Revenue Before To-Dos)
This is where the Precision CEO starts to shine.
The Friday before, I don’t “plan my tasks”—I map my money.
Here’s what I review:
What offers are currently selling?
What content or calls will directly drive conversions this week?
Which clients or leads deserve intentional follow-up?
What financial milestones are in motion?
Most entrepreneurs treat money like an afterthought. High-earning CEOs make it their focal point because if revenue doesn’t have a rhythm, it won’t have a result.
4. The Focus Forecast (Strategic Weekly Planning)
Once my energy and revenue direction are set, I move into my Balanced Workweek™ rhythm.
Each day of my week has a distinct energetic role:
CEO Day (Monday and Friday morning block): Vision, decisions, financial mapping.
Doer Days (Tuesday and Thursday): Implementation, coaching, and content.
Goddess Day (Wednesday): Integration, reflection, rest.
You’ll never see me cramming admin tasks into a CEO day or creative projects into a low-energy Friday.
This protects your creativity, your nervous system, and your business’s long-term scalability.
When your week is structured around energy, your results compound.
5. The Embodiment Hour (Regulation Before Strategy)
My Monday morning routine is about calibration.
I spend the first hour of my CEO Day in Embodiment Work: breathwork, meditation, or EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques).
That hour anchors my nervous system and clears mental clutter so I can make powerful decisions from precision, not panic.
Your energy sets the tone for your team, your clients, and your income.
If your nervous system starts in chaos, your calendar will follow.
The most profitable CEOs don’t start with emails—they start with embodiment.
Why Mondays Feel Hard (And How High-Earners Make Them Light)
If Mondays feel heavy, it's because your brain learned that productivity = safety.
That being busy = being valuable.
But high-earning CEOs have retrained that pattern.
They’ve learned that presence is more profitable than pressure, and their Monday rituals reflect that.
When you start your week with clarity, intention, and regulation, you stop reacting to business and start directing it.
The 5-Minute Profitable Monday Audit
If you’re ready to design your own CEO ritual, here’s a quick audit to get started:
Where is your energy leaking before noon?
(Check: Are you scrolling, reacting, or avoiding?)
What are you checking before you check in with yourself?
(Hint: email, client messages, notifications.)
Do you know your top revenue priorities this week?
(If not, you’re working blind.)
When do you actually feel creative and does your schedule reflect it?
What rituals regulate your energy before you lead others?
Start small. Choose one shift this week—a 10-minute CEO Check-In, a new journal prompt, or a money map review—and commit.
Consistency builds confidence. Confidence builds clarity. Clarity builds cash flow.
How I Rebuilt My Mondays (And Tripled My Energy + Profit)
When I ran my first business—a gym—I dreaded Mondays.
It felt like stepping onto a treadmill that never stopped. There were always new fires, client issues, and endless “urgent” tasks.
I believed being a good business owner meant being on 24/7.
But after burning out (twice), I realized I didn’t have a strategy problem—I had an energetic structure problem.
That’s when I created the Balanced Workweek™ and the Embodiment Hierarchy of Success™—two frameworks that helped me build a business that runs with my energy, not against it.
Now, Mondays are my favorite day of the week.
They’re not about catching up. They’re about setting the tone and spending time with some of my favorite people—my clients!
And the profit always follows the precision.
