When You Stop Waiting and Start Creating Predictable Results
In my neighborhood, there’s a pond that I like to walk around. Sometimes I jog for fitness and sometimes I walk to reflect.
There's this spot on the path, where every time I pass that curve, memories come back from 2017 when I first started my business. I still remember the conviction that I had when I said I planned on making a million dollars that year in my new business. 🤣
Month after month, year after year, every time I turned that curve, the version of me that I left at that spot kept asking me if I had made a million dollars in one year yet in my business.
I shamefully replied no, and in fact, I wasn’t making any money in my business at that time.
With every pass at the curve, shame and disappointment sank in more and more.
Then one day, I had had enough.
For over 4 years, I had learned every strategy under the sun. I read all the books (and more) from my CEO Library. But I was still stuck, and I couldn’t put my finger on it.
One day, I was scrolling through Instagram and came across an offer from a woman whom I started to follow after going through her course that I got from a bundle.
She was promoting her Magnetic Coach Certification. The next thing I know, on autopilot, I whipped out my credit card and paid $6,000 in full for the program.
That was when my life changed forever—the start of my NLP journey.
Over the next 4 years, I studied the subconscious mind, neuroscience, and energetics. I awakened to all the ways I limited myself because of my beliefs and self-concept.
And that’s when the energy behind all the strategies I implemented shifted and unlocked a new magnetism that attracted paying dream clients.
(Funny story, I went from being afraid to charge $27 for my group coaching to realizing that $997/month doesn’t match the value of the Profitable CEO Accelerator program.)
The Balanced Workweek Method was born from this shift: a strategic yet flexible method to structure your business week so you can take control of your time, money, and energy, which directly impact your happiness.
I’ve loved hearing how the past two posts have helped you start thinking differently about how you run your business and I’m thrilled to keep going.
The Trap of External Validation
Too many brilliant entrepreneurs spend years operating as if their success is dependent on something outside of them.
They think that landing one big collaboration, going viral on social media, or getting a flood of referrals will finally “make it click.”
And I get it. When your progress feels stuck, it’s tempting to chase something external. The next trend, the next strategy, the next mentor. But here’s the quiet truth I’ve observed over and over: when you’re constantly searching outside of yourself, you forget to trust your own wisdom.
Instead of pausing to ask what you want or need, you default to what everyone else is doing.
That disconnect dims your intuition. And when you can’t hear your own guidance, even the most perfect strategy will fall flat.
This keeps moms who run businesses on a wild goose chase, searching for the perfect strategy, trying to “fix” themselves, and staying constantly distracted instead of intentionally implementing.
The emotional toll is heavy. Confidence crumbles. Revenue dips. And their schedule becomes a game of survival instead of strategy.
Being disconnected from your power and intuition causes stress and stress on your brain makes reasoning and decision-making nearly impossible. That’s a recipe for burnout, not a 6-figure business.
The Wake-Up Call That Changed Everything
I remember the days when I thought the algorithm and my audience hated me. So, like any other online business owner, I tried to fix it by learning the best way to grow an audience or hack the algorithm.
But once I understood business energetics, I realized I had to stop placing blame outside of myself and take a good look in the mirror. I had to shift my energy, which shifted my approach.
I remember after months of going through this work, how people told me, “You seem different. Happier, lighter, and more positive. It feels good to be around you now.” (Yeah, the last part stung, but I understood what they meant.)
That’s when I knew I was onto something.
I had to unlearn the myth that consistency means being on 110% of the time. That belief kept me running myself into the ground—working to the point of exhaustion, which left me grumpy, drained, and in a negative mood that repelled the very people I wanted to attract.
The constant output with no recovery made me resentful, disconnected from my joy, and energetically misaligned.
Instead, I committed to giving my business 100% effort, 80% of the time. That simple shift gave me freedom, grace, and better results because I was no longer trying to prove my worth through overworking. I was leading from groundedness, not grasping.
Because there’s a woman’s way of running and growing a business, and there’s a little girl’s way.
The little girl version of us tries to prove her worth through overworking, comparison, and perfectionism, hoping someone will notice, validate, or finally say, "You did good."
But a woman who trusts herself knows she doesn’t need to prove anything. She leads with clarity, creates with confidence, and honors her uniqueness instead of trying to earn her way into belonging.
That’s the shift that unlocks ease, overflow, and sustainable success.
One of my clients, Christian, experienced this shift. Before joining my program, she felt capable but craved accountability, strategy, and structure that honored her intuition. She didn’t want another cookie-cutter business course. She wanted support that blended real-world business tools and energetic mastery.
Through our work together, she began setting clearer goals, implemented systems that matched her natural rhythms and stopped feeling like everything would fall apart when she traveled or took a break.
This year, she surpassed her previous annual revenue, grew her team, and built a business foundation that supports her mission and her family.
Her favorite part? Getting to celebrate wins inside a community of high-achieving women who get it. As she said, “This is the year I finally started building something lasting—something that’s mine.”
What Taking the Lead Really Looks Like
In my coaching, I help clients become aware of the risks of being caught on the pendulum swing:
One end of the pendulum is the distorted masculine energy. Distorted masculine energy looks like overworking, overcontrolling, micromanaging, and tying your worth to productivity. It leads to burnout, rigidity, and resentment.
On the other side is the distorted feminine. Distorted feminine energy looks like chaos, lack of structure, passivity, procrastination, and waiting for inspiration to strike. It leads to disorganization, inconsistency, and stuck energy.
The goal isn’t to swing between extremes, but to return to center by integrating both divine energies:
The divine masculine supports with structure, focus, planning, and grounded action.
The divine feminine invites creativity, trust, receptivity, and flow.
When you integrate both, you:
Become intentional with how you spend your time, money, and energy
Plan ahead and reduce stress with proactive decision-making
Trust your intuition and learn from feedback, not fear
This is the shift from girl-led business to woman-led business.
A girl-led business reeks of distorted energy. She runs on proving, pleasing, and performing. It’s reactive, approval-seeking, and exhausting.
A woman-led business runs on clarity, leadership, and discernment. It’s rooted, rhythmic, and magnetic.
Here's a simple action to take your business from girl-led to woman-led.
Get quiet on purpose. Step away from the noise of Instagram reels, podcasts, and the endless scroll of advice.
Even if it’s just for 10 minutes. Meditate. Breathe deeply.
Ask yourself: What do I actually want? What am I ready to release? What would feel deliciously supportive right now?
THIS is how you activate your energetic leadership—the kind that radiates from within and quietly commands attention. When you disconnect from the noise, you reconnect with the frequency of clarity, calm, and conviction. This alignment shifts how you show up, and your audience can feel the difference.
It’s not just mindset work. It’s the energetic foundation that makes your strategies land and your presence irresistible.
Because energetics is strategy.
And when you shift your internal state, everything changes externally.
Remember, 93% of communication is non-verbal. If your energy is off, your strategies won’t land.
But when you align your energy, your messaging becomes magnetic. You attract clients who see your value and trust your leadership.
That’s when momentum kicks in. That’s when you see the compound effect, which means more leads, more joy, more confidence, more cash.
When the Doubt Creeps In
Even the most capable, high-achieving women hit a wall when faced with a new way of doing business.
And if you’ve never been taught what true leadership looks like, how to run your business with both structure and softness, it makes sense that your brain is throwing red flags.
You might be thinking:
“I’ve never done it this way before.”
“What if I waste time trying something that doesn’t work?”
“I don’t have the energy to figure something else out right now.”
But have you considered that you’re already doing business in a way that leaves you stressed, stretched thin, and stuck in survival mode?
Your calendar is cluttered.
Your sales feel inconsistent.
You end the day feeling guilty that you didn’t get more done and exhausted from doing too much of the wrong stuff.
So what do you really have to lose by trying something different?
The Balanced Workweek and business energetics approach doesn’t add more to your plate; it reshapes the plate entirely.
It gives you back your clarity, your confidence, and your ability to trust yourself to make decisions that feel good and drive results.
Imagine this instead:
✅ Waking up on Monday and knowing exactly what your focus is.
✅ Feeling calm, grounded, and capable when a curveball hits your schedule.
✅ Looking at your revenue each month and thinking, “That feels just right.”
That’s not fluff. That’s structure + energetics working together.
Now, if your next self-sabotaging thought is: “But my revenue is unpredictable…”
And that may be true...right now.
You can’t control the algorithm, the economy, or your clients’ timelines.
But what you can control is how you show up:
How consistent you are.
How clear your offers are.
How confident your energy is behind the scenes.
Here’s a reframe that I give my coaching clients:
“If your habits and weekly rhythm were more predictable… wouldn’t your results become more predictable too?”
This is what creates stability.
Not more hustle.
Not better luck.
Not waiting for the “right time.”
And definitely not the perfect strategy.
It’s consistent, intentional self-leadership.
That’s what creates a business that grows with you, not without you.
Your Action Plan for a Profitable Business
Before you can lead your business like a true CEO, you must audit and address your leaks—time, money, and energy leaks.
Because you can’t layer a new strategy on top of old chaos and expect long-term results.
Leadership starts with awareness. From there, everything becomes easier.
That’s exactly what we integrate in Your 6-Figure Year.
We combine:
A predictable lead flow system
A Balanced Workweek™ structure
Leadership habits that align your inner state with your outer results
It’s about becoming a woman who moves with clarity, courage, and conviction and builds a business that feels like hers in every sense of the word.
In next week’s post, I’m going to show you exactly what this structure looks like inside Your 6-Figure Year and why it works even if you’ve tried every planner, productivity tool, or business course out there. Don’t miss it.
Your Turn: Make the Shift Real
There’s a moment where everything begins to change.
It’s not when you hit a revenue milestone. It’s not when you finally figure out the algorithm. It’s not when someone else tells you, “You’ve made it.”
It’s the moment you decide: “What got me here won’t get me there. And I’m ready to do something different.”
So if you’ve been holding onto shame, guilt, or self-doubt about how your business has been operating, start there.
Forgive yourself.
Acknowledge that you were doing your best with the tools you had.
And now… choose what’s next.
✍️ Write it down: What’s one area of your business that needs a shift? What do you actually want instead? What’s one bold, brave decision you can make today to take leadership of that shift?
Even if it’s just 5 minutes of reflection, or it’s just one courageous conversation.
Or just the decision to stop waiting and start leading.
Then DM me or leave a comment: What’s the next step you’re taking today and how does that feel in your body when you say it out loud?
You don’t have to do it all. You just have to do the next right thing.
And I’ll be here cheering you on as you do.
