Why Every Female Entrepreneur Needs a Goddess Day
If you're a woman running a business, chances are your calendar is packed, your energy is stretched, and your nervous system is teetering between overdrive and shutdown. You're not alone.
That’s exactly why I implemented a weekly Goddess Day: a self-care ritual that has changed the game for my business and my mental health.
This is more than a bubble bath and a face mask (although those are welcome). A Goddess Day is a dedicated 24-hour period focused entirely on replenishing your inner world and nurturing your outer well-being. It’s one of the key self-care routines **for entrepreneurs who want longevity, creativity, and joy in both life and business.
Goddess Day is a pillar of my Balanced Workweek™ method, which also includes CEO Day (strategy + metrics) and Doer Day (implementation + visibility). Each of these serves a distinct energetic purpose to help you grow sustainably.
CEO Day is for thinking like a visionary: tracking your numbers, reviewing goals, and planning next steps.
Doer Day is for putting your head down and getting sh*t done. Think: writing content, sending pitches, following up with leads.
Goddess Day is for turning inward, resetting your nervous system, and reconnecting with your intuition and desires.
When these three days are intentionally woven into your weekly schedule, magic happens. Your business gets the masculine structure it needs to thrive and the feminine softness it needs to feel calm and creative. This is one of the most effective self-care strategies for sustainable business growth I’ve ever implemented, and I teach it inside my Profitable CEO Accelerator.
7 Self-Care Routines I Include in My Goddess Day
Each Goddess Day looks a little different, but these seven practices are usually part of the mix. Here’s how I prevent burnout as a female entrepreneur and grow a thriving business while doing it.
1. Gentle Movement and Somatic Release
Think: walking around the pond, doing yoga in the living room, or dancing it out to Beyoncé.
Movement is the bridge between your mind and your body. When you’ve been stuck in content planning, launch mode, or back-to-back Zooms, your body needs to move the emotion out. This helps release cortisol (the stress hormone) and re-regulate your nervous system.
This isn’t about fitness or burning calories. It’s about accessing the deeper wisdom stored in your body. This kind of somatic care is a must for high-performing women and a core part of how weekly self-care improves business performance.
2. Inner Glow Hour
During Inner Glow Hour, I journal, meditate, and sip my favorite mineral water. Sometimes I’ll read something from my mindset stack or practice EFT tapping.
This helps me return to myself, especially if I’ve been caught in a scroll spiral or comparison trap earlier in the week.
When you take time to plug back into your own intuition and clarity, you’re able to make faster, more strategic business decisions. It's a ritual that reinforces the benefits of self-care for business owners who lead with intention.
3. Emotional Release + Energy Clearing
Whether it’s a voice note rant to a friend, crying in the car, or using sound frequencies to clear the energetic clutter, I make space to feel it all.
This might sound woo, but if you’ve ever brought your stress, resentment, or anxiety into a sales call, you know just how much that energy impacts the outcome.
Releasing emotions regularly helps you stay grounded and magnetic; two qualities that help you sign dream clients and scale with ease.
4. Self-Adoring Beauty Rituals
This is when I pull out the fancy face masks, red light therapy, gua sha, and dry brushing, not for the results but for the ritual.
These practices help me reconnect with my physical body. As a mom and CEO, I’m constantly giving, leading, and doing. Goddess Day beauty rituals let me receive. They help me honor my body not as an afterthought but as a sacred vessel of my power.

5. Oracle Cards + Reflective Inquiry
On Goddess Day, I often pull a card from my Biz Coach in a Box Oracle Deck to check in with where my business needs my energy.
Sometimes the message is to have fun in business or be more creative. Other times, it’s to stop hiding and speak up. The cards never lie. They always reflect something I need to acknowledge.
This reflective time keeps me in alignment. It ensures I’m not just executing strategy, but that positive energy is behind it. And that is what creates predictable cash flow.
6. Slow Living and Presence
Instead of multitasking like a maniac, I pick one activity and go all in.
It might be:
Putting my phone on silent to read or journal.
Drinking coffee slowly on the patio.
Taking myself on a midday movie date.
This practice helps rewire the belief that I have to be productive all the time to be worthy.
When I slow down, my creativity returns. When I stop proving, I start attracting.
This is one of the most underrated self-care strategies for sustainable business growth.
7. Future Self Work
During Goddess Day, I visualize my future self.
I ask her:
What did you do to make your success feel inevitable?
What routines kept you calm, confident, and clear-headed?
What did you stop doing that was draining your joy?
I write the answers down and make small tweaks to align with that version of me.
This practice helps me bridge the gap between where I am and where I’m going and reminds me that how I build my 6-figure year matters just as much as what I build.
What If You Feel Guilty Taking a Day Off?
Guilt is normal, especially for high-achieving women, moms, and recovering over-functioners.
But here’s the reframe: Rest is a revenue-generating activity.
When I started prioritizing Goddess Day, I felt indulgent. But after seeing the difference it made in my clarity, capacity, and cash flow, I realized it was the smartest thing I could do.
Now, I protect my Goddess Days like my business depends on them because it does.
